Moutain Biker Married to Horses

Am I blessed or cursed?

Now, if I knew better before I became an fanatic mountain biker that my daughter would follow my wife's foot steps into in being an excellent equestrian, would I still have become the enemy to my wife and daughter? You bet, cause I am blessed to live in Santa Cruz county where Equestrians and Mountain Bikers make considerable efforts to be friends on the trails. Nothing is more important to our shared passion of trial use than having a common front. Although I prefer to mount my bike than horses, by all means I appreciate the love and passion my wife and daughter share for horse.

Mountain bikers are quick to claim the ignore of other groups towards the real impact of mountain bikes on trails. But at the same time Mountain bikers need to come to terms with their own ignorance towards horses and hikers. My goal is to break through myths and barriers that cause hardship between mountain bikers and equestrians. Santa Cruz mountains is the greatest place on earth to practice and debunk the ignorance. I am very blessed.
